Illustration Friday–Entangled
Sometimes things seemed so entangled. She didn’t know if it were the inner demons that were haunting her, or if there were real ones out there.

What is SDLC Methodology?
The development and maintenance of information systems can be a very complicated business. A software development life cycle (SDLC) process is therefore necessary to keep things in a manageable perspective. With a SDLC in place, software developers have a well-mapped plan on how to proceed and in what sequence, and are thereby better able to keep tabs on the different developmental stages of an IT project.

Sketchbook - Yucca
The Yucca plant in our garden has sent out this very tall – over ten feet – stalk. We are now waiting for it to bloom.
I got this plant from a neighbor. He was at the Post Office and there were workers uprooting several Yucca plants from the garden there. He asked if he could have some, and they said, take them all. So he brought them back and gave me this one.
I planted it first in a rock garden, which was later sacrificed during our home extension work and the Yucca went in between the grapefruit and the Bakul, both of which were too shady for its liking. It didn’t grow at all there. Then I decided to move it to a sunnier corner and it has been thriving ever since.

WIP–Sennacherib
New young adult illustrations I’m really enjoying working on right now. A set of six, featuring teenagers in college. Sennacherib, by the way, is the name of the café where they all meet.

Illustration Friday–Whiskers
He teared up singing ‘Memory’ from ‘Cats’. It was one of his most favorite songs in the whole, entire world. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, he said, were total geniuses, and T.S. Eliot wasn’t too bad either.

Drawing–Black Leaves
I love doing black and white drawings, and, at present, I’m doing a drawing a day. The drawings are not planned beforehand. I just start and I like to discover where the line is going and what is going to emerge finally. Then I fill in the details. I was going to use waterproof ink, but the one I have has turned funny – stays sticky for some reason – and so I used black gouache here.

Illustration Friday–Suspend
He entangled in the vines as he fell, and that saved him. He held on and looked at the rushing water below and wondered what to do next. It was amazing how calm he felt, considering the dire situation. Then he heard the Princess call him from the cliff edge. Clearly, she had dispatched the demon single-handed, and was, at this moment, readying herself to come rescue him.

Every Girl Is An Island
I’ve been messing about a bit with my facebook page. I guess it’s like tossing a pebble in the pond and hoping the ripples carry onwards. I’ve also found some quite interesting artists that I might perhaps have missed.
