Illustration Friday - Carry
I met them in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. It was so cold and she said that her baby had to be kept wrapped up throughout the year. He didn’t like being cocooned and kept flinging his booties and clothes off at every opportunity. He was a handful, she said, though not as bad yet as his older four-year old brother. He was two handfuls.

Illustration Friday–Suspend
He entangled in the vines as he fell, and that saved him. He held on and looked at the rushing water below and wondered what to do next. It was amazing how calm he felt, considering the dire situation. Then he heard the Princess call him from the cliff edge. Clearly, she had dispatched the demon single-handed, and was, at this moment, readying herself to come rescue him.

This is my favorite rose. It has a lovely fragrance too. I got it last year, moved it twice, and it is finally thriving. I’m going to take cuttings this week. Several of them.
